A dinner in support of the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger
A character breakfast at Montoursville High School
We can also be spotted selling sausage sandwiches at events throughout Lycoming County!

The Honorable Ryan M. Tira, a judge for the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas, presented our program today. After graduating from law school, he returned to Lycoming County, entering into private practice. He was appointed to the bench in September 2019.
Knowing that Kiwanis mission focuses on improving the lives of children, he shared his role in serving them through Dependency Court and Juvenile Delinquency cases. He explained Dependency Court hears cases of children and young adults who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, or there is no parent to safely care for them. Courts with juvenile jurisdiction may handle a variety of matters, including child abuse and neglect, child abuse, and child support.
